Srinagar (KNO) : Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir expresses deep sorrow and anxiety over the tragic road accident near Ramban on Jammu-Srinagar highway in which 22 persons lost their lives and a number of others got seriously injured.

Ameer Jamaat Dr Fayaz expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wishes speedy recovery of the injured. Local Jama’at associates led by the veteran Jama’at leader Abdul Ahad Masroor of Banihal visited some bereaved families and expressed solidarity and sympathy with them on behalf of Jama’at. Jama’at-e-Islami demands an impartial probe for knowing about the apparent reasons behind these frequently happening accidents and take necessary steps to get them checked.(KNO)
