LS Polls 2019: Six officials suspended for violating MCC in Bandipora | KNO

Bandipora, April 06 (KNO) : Authorities have orders suspensions of six officials for violating Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in Bandipora ahead of parliamentary polls in the state. They were suspended from services by the District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora Those who have been suspended include Abdul Raouf Shah, Istiyaq zaibullah lone, Tariq Ahmad Wani, Irshad Ahmad Mir, Fayaz Ahmed Malik and Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh. DEO also directed the Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora to conduct a detailed inquiry into the conduct of all the officials. He has asked for report with the recommendation of further disciplinary action against them under law. All the officials have been attached with their respective district head offices. Earlier Chief Medical Officer Bandipora and Medical Superintendent Bandipora were also put under suspension pending enquiry for allegedly participating in a political meeting. Several officials including teachers were also suspended earlier for forwarding what's app messages endorsing the views of a politician.(KNO)
