Man arrested for keeping 31 non-locals in his house without screening in Tral | KNO

Srinagar, Mar 23 (KNO): A person was arrested on Monday after police came to know that he has kept 31 non-locals in his house without proper screening. A police official told wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that on specific information that a person namely Arshid Hussian Dar, son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar of Hardmir Tral is employing 31 labourers at construction site and had transported them to Valley without any screening or medical formalities. He said that accordingly, a team lead by SDPO Tral Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Tral and SHO Gulzar Ahmad raided his house where non-local labourers complained of chest infections, fever etc. He added that the person was booked and arrested under FIR number 21 of 2020 in Police Station Tral under sections 188 for violating 144 CrPc section in the sub division Tral and 34 disaster management act – (KNO)
