Police today sounded an alert after a car was stolen by unknown persons in Pampore area of southern Pulwama district.

 Police today sounded an alert after a car was stolen by unknown persons in Pampore area of southern Pulwama district.

A police officer told GNS that the white colour Maruti Car (JK01J- 6146) belonging to Mohammad Yaqoob Sofi was lifted from Nambalebal Pampore.

While police have registered a case in the concerned police station, an alert has been sounded, he said. “The police control rooms have been alerted and check points have been established at several areas including on Srinagar-Jammu highway,” the officer told

He said police has launched further investigations into the case.
