Mir grieved over death of Sheila Dixit, describes her as visionary | KNO

Srinagar July 20 (KNO) : Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing away of Sheila Dixit and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family on behalf of rank and file of the JKPCC. In a condolence message, Mir in a statement issued to KNO expressed profound grief over the passing away of veteran Congress leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit and described her passing away as a great loss to Congress party. Dixit was a visionary and popular face of the Party in the Country, she has served the people of Delhi and Congress Party to the best of her ability, Mir said. Late Dixit was a dedicated and loyal Congress leader, she will always be remembered for her vision and leadership qualities, Mir added. “May her soul rest in peace,” Mir prayed and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. Meanwhile, former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Sayeed has condoled the passing away of Mrs. Sheila Dixit and paid rich tributes to the departed leader. “I was pained to hear about the passing away of Dixit, who was a great personality and visionary,” Peerzada said and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family. Peerzada his conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.(KNO)
