Mirwaiz, Sehrai grieved over loss of lives in Peer ki gali mishap | KNO

Srinagar, June 27 (KNO): Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai Thursday expressed grief over the loss opf lives in fatal road mishap in Peer Ki Gali in Shopian district. According to KNO News Desk, Mirwaiz in a tweet conveyed heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families. He said that “everyday, we lose precious lives to accidents”. “Deeply saddened by the tragic death of 11 school children on an outing in Peer ki Gail in an accident. Heartfelt condolences to their bereaved families .Everyday we lose precious lives to accidents!,” Mirwaiz tweeted. Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai expressed shock and grief over the death of eleven students including nine girls in a tragic road accident. In a statement issued to KNO, Sehrai said that it was tragic to see many lives getting lost in road accidents and landslides in Jammu and Kashmir. “The causes of the fateful accident should be ascertained. The incumbent authorities need to devise a strategy to reduce these tragedies,” he said. Sehrai said it is heart wrenching to hear about such deadly accidents happening time and again and the incumbent administration is equally responsible for passengers’ safety in the areas which are mostly hilly. He also expressed sympathies with the families whose loved ones were killed in a tragic road accident and shared his thoughts and prayers with the bereaved families. He prayed for the speedy recovery of those who are injured.(KNO)
