Nine youth taken into preventive custody for creating chaos | KNO

Rajouri, February 25 (KNO) : At least nine youth were taken into preventive custody on Monday for creating chaos and resorting to sloganeering in Gujjar Mandi area, officials said. Officials told KNO that today morning, a group of nine boys, including some college students, appeared at Gujjar Mandi Chowk and resorted to sloganeering and started to creating chaos thereby spreading panic among the people. The procession was found taking place without any permission from competent authority, they said, adding that the group was led by Congress party activist. They were not having any permission for holding any protest while their sudden sloganeering spread chaos and panic among people present there, officials said. Acting swiftly, a team of police headed by Station House Officer (SHO) Rajouri Ajaz Haider rushed to the spot and detained all the nine boys who have been taken into preventive custody.(KNO)
