Non local driver dies in Army unit | KNO

Kupwara, June 01 (KNO) : A civil driver who had arrived in the valleys remotest district along with Army supply  from Himachal Pardesh died of heart attack on Thursday night in an Army unit at Pangzam in Kupwara district. An official told KNO that the driver was brought to SDH Kupwara for postmortem.  “It is believed that he had died of heart attack  within Army unit at Panzgam," the official told KNO. He said the body was handed over to Police after the incident and was later sent to Sub District Hospital for legal medical formalities this morning.  The driver has been identified as Jitinder a resident of  Himachal Pardesh. "The body is in Mortuary and will be handed over to family for legal heirs," the official told KNO. (KNO)
