One killed, two injured in Budgam mishap | KNO

Budgam, July 28 (KNO): A youth was killed while two others sustained injuries in a road accident on Tuesday in Central Kashmir's Budgam district. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three youth were travelling on a Scooty bearing registration number JK04D-5339 when it met with an accident near Boys Higher Secondary School Budgam, leaving all of them severely wounded. A police officer said the injured were rushed to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for treatment. However, one among the youth succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital while two others are undergoing treatment, he said. He identified the deceased youth as Arbaaz Rehman, son of Abdul Reham of Arath Budgam. The two injured have been identified as Nadeem Maqbool (21), son of Muhammad Maqbool and Ishfaq Majeed (23), son of Abdul Majeed Rather, both residents of Arath village in Budgam district. The officer further added that police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation into the matter—(KNO)
