Gurez, July 10 (KNO) : Pakistan army on Wednesday refused to take back the body of youth in Achoora village of gurez in north Kashmir's Bandipora district. Official sources told KNO that three attempts were made to hand over the dead body of drowned boy from Achoora and Chorwan village Gurez from Indian side but Pak army refused to take the body from both villages. On Tuesday morning dead body of Abid Sheikh, a resident of Minimarg village in Astore District of Gilgit - Baltistan in Pakistan Administered Kashmir was fished out from the Kishanganga River in Dawar Gurez area of North Kashmir's Bandipora District. Sources told KNO that he had gone missing while returning from school."It is suspected that he may have slipped and fallen in a tributary of Kishan Ganga River," sources told KNO. Meanwhile, dead body of the boy is still lying in the Gurez Hospital and yet it is not buried anywhere. On Tuesday a a video message was accessed by KNO wherein the family of the deceased appealed the Prime Minister Imran Khan to help them in bringing the body of their son back to home. Meanwhile officials in local administration here told KNO that they attempted many times to hand over the body to the Pakistani army, but they refused to take it. "That's why body is still lying in hospital," the official told KNO. They further said that if the dead body will not be taken by Pakistani army, then it will be buried in Gurez village. (KNO)
