Pulwama, February 01 (KNO) : Two militants killed in encounter between forces and militants in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday evening. A top Police official told KNO that two militants killed, arms and ammunition recovered in Pulwama encounter. Identity and affiliation being ascertained Officail said. Earlier, forces launched search operations in the village following the inputs about the presence of militants there. The search party was fired upon by the militants, which was retaliated, thus leading to the gunfight. Sources further said that the lights have also been installed in the area. The exchange of fire was going on when the report was last filed. Meanwhile in view of the gunfight, the mobile internet services have also been suspended by the authorities.(KNO)
