Pulwama, March 19 (KNO) : At least eight youth were detained by government forces from volatile Drabgam village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district during a nocturnal raid, locals said During night government forces appeared in Drabgam village and laid a cordon around a cluster of houses, reports said on Tuesday. According to reports reaching KNO, the villagers were ordered to come out of their houses and then forces identified at least eight youth and detained them. Some of arrested youth have been identified as Ashraf Khan, Irfan Javid, Muzamil Ahmed, Khursheed Ahmad, Imran Ahmed and Ishfaq Ahmad. A police official told KNO that the youth were detained on charges of stone pelting. Pertinently on Monday morning clashes erupted during cordon and search operation in the area in which many youth received minor injuries.(KNO)
