Shopian Encounter : Six militants killed, Ops over | KNO

Shopian, November 25 (KNO) :  Six militants were killed in a gunfight which erupted between militants and government forces in Shopian district. Sources confirms KNO that Six (6) militants killed in an encounter which started between militants and government forces in Batgung area of South Kashmir's Shopian district. Earlier joint Forces government forces had launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the area, and after that more reinforcements have been called to the spot as troopers have installed search lights over the area. However identity of the slain militants are yet to be ascertained. Sources told KNO that slain militants belong LeT and Hizb (KNO)
