Situation Tense in Bhaderwah after miscreants raise provocative slogans in front of Jamia Masjid | KNO

Bhaderwah,Decmber 09 (KNO) : Situation turned tense in Bhaderwah town of Chenab valley on Sunday evening after some people raised provocative slogans in front of historical Jamia Masjid Bhaderwah . The incident occurred at that time when some people were moving on bikes towards old bus stand Bhaderwah and when they reached in front of Jamia Masjid started raising provocative slogans and the miscreants took to their heels as soon as those who were offering their prayers came out from the mosque. Reports reaching KNO that that Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah president Parvaiz Ahmed Sheikh calls for complete shutdown in the town and a strong protest and demonstration was also organised and protesters were trying to move towards Takya Chowk but police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control and not allowed to any protester to move ahead . Anjuman alleged that district administration in general and Bhaderwah police in particular “are dancing to the tunes of communal forces and are hell bent to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in Bhaderwah valley.”ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh , SDPO Adil Reshu and SHO Bhaderwah Muneer Khan met the protesters and said they are investigating the matter and are collecting CCTV footage and assured legal action under law.(KNO)
