Six injured in Kangan mishap, two critical | KNO

Ganderbal, July 12 (KNO) : Six persons were injured in a road accident at Gatribal area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday evening. Officials told KNO that two vehicles including swift bearing registration number JK01AH-9053 and i20 bearing registration number JK01AJ-6365 collided with each other, resulting in injuries to six passengers. Officials identified the injured persons as Hatim Ahmad Khan, Ateef Ahmad, Jazim Ahmad Khan sons of Showkat Ahmad Khan resident of south Kashmir’s Anantnag, Manzoor Ahmad son of Ghulam Mohd, Tabassum Jan wife of Manzoor Ahmad, Mohammad Affan son of Manzoor Ahmad all residents of Illahi Bagh Soura Srinagar. Meanwhile, all the injured were shifted to nearby Sub-district Hospital Kangan where from doctors referred them to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment. Two among the injured are said to be critical, officials said. A police officer also confirmed the incident to KNO and said that police has taken cognizance of the incident and further investigations taken up.(KNO)
