Says intense Covid-19 testing will ensure timely treatment of patients

Srinagar, Mar 31 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Tuesday expressed anguish over the surge in positive cases, seeking intense testing of every Covid 19 suspect case, at right earnest to ensure that the treatment of the patients are started, without any delay. In a statement issued to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), JKPCC urged the people not to panic, take all precautions in-order to save the lives of their nears and dears. The party has urged the Lieutenant Governor Administration to ensure every required facility to Doctors and Para Medical staff, besides protective gears, etc on war footing basis as that will enable them to fight the war which has struck the society in shape of Covid 19. The Administration has to monitor that there is no negligence of whatever nature while treating the patients in Covid 19 designated hospitals, they should be fully equipped to combat fatal disease, JKPCC said. The testing capacities, which is very slow, as reported, should be intensified, on war footing basis to ensure timely treatment of patients, PCC added. Pradesh Congress Committee reiterated its appeal to people not to panic and stay indoors to ensure that no other person is infected by the deadly Covid 19. JKPCC also hailed the strenuous efforts put in by both Civil and Police Administration in order to ensure safety of people from the fatal Pandemic Covid 19 –(KNO)
