Rajouri, June 04 (KNO) : Army and police on Tuesday detained three person, reportedly Nepalese residents, for travelling towards valley without identity cards. Sources told KNO that Thanamandi based Rashtriya Rifles and police party laid a vehicle check point at DKG on Thanamandi - Surankote road when a passenger vehicle on way to Kashmir via Mughal Road was intercepted and passengers were put to frisking. "During frisking it was found that three passengers were traveling without valid identity proof. The security forces found expired identity proof of Qatar from in their possession," a source told KNO. The trio were detained and later shifted to Thanamandi police station for questioning. "All three claim to be Nepalese and have stated that they were on way to Leh for labour work," a source told KNO. He said the questioning was still going on.(KNO)
