Unexploded shell recovered in Agri field in Rajouri | KNO

Rajouri, May 22 (KNO): An rusted shell was recovered on Friday evening in an agriculture field in Nonial village of Rajouri's Nowshera, officials said, adding that Army's bomb disposal squad later destroyed the shell on the spot. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a farmer was ploughing a piece of Agriculture land in Nonial village when he saw a suspicious object lying under the soil following which police was informed and a team from Nowshera Police Station rushed to the spot and found an explosive shell. "Army's bomb disposal squad was called who later destroyed the shell on the spot,” officials said. They said that explosion due to shell at the time of ploughing could have led to a major loss of life and property –(KNO)
