Kupwara, Jul 26 (KNO): Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) Mawer on Wednesday held a welcome party in the honour of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Mawer Abdul Ahad Lone. The Cluster Heads Kifayat-u-llah Shah BHSS Qalamabad, Alhaq Masoodi BHSS Haril, Mohammad Shafi Wani BHSS Sanzipora and Head Assistant Ishaq along with ministerial staff were also invited in the party, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads. It is pertinent to mention that the Vice Chairman JKTA Syed Iftikhar Geelani and District President JKTA Lone Altaf along with District Organiser Abdul Rashid Sheikh and DP JKECC Jaffer Hussain Lone were also present on the occasion. However, senior apex member and policy analyser Raja Tajamul Hussain missed the occasion due to health issues. Numerous speakers addressed the occasion and welcomed the ZEO Mawer. Moreover, a threadbare discussion over GAD order number 2173 among all stakeholders took place and the association stressed very hard that rationalisation should be done purely as per PTR so as to benefit the students. The ZEO and Cluster Heads gave a positive nod to this demand and assured that every step will be taken to benefit the students at every level. We are hopeful that the ZEO Mawer and the Cluster Heads will streamline the whole education system of the zone which they are doing at the moment, the statement said. The Zonal President Zahoor Ahmad Shah thanked all executive members of JKTA and other participants and expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries. Moreover, the zonal body along with the District Body JKTA Kupwara thanked the leadership headed by Chairman Shah Fayaz for timely guidance and implementation of the order at ground level—(KNO)
