Sopore, Dec 20 (KNO): ISM Edutech Kashmir on Saturday opened its new branch in Sopore, with MLA Sopore Irshad Rasool Kar inaugurating the centre at Mahafiz Placements.
The branch, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) is scheduled as part of the organisation’s expansion plan in north Kashmir, aims to provide structured counselling and mentoring to local students aspiring to pursue MBBS and other medical courses abroad.
The inaugural was attended by local dignitaries, including former Municipal Council President Masarat Kar, education consultants and students.
ISM Edutech management said the Sopore office will function as a dedicated facilitation centre for admission counselling, documentation and post-admission support for overseas medical education.
"It offers counselling for MBBS programmes in countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Georgia and others, focusing on recognised and affordable medical universities", said ISM Kashmir's regional head Omar Matto.
Similarly, Syed Fayaz, Coordinator Mahafiz Placements, said the opening of the ISM Edutech centre at Iqbal Market will bring professional counselling and transparent guidance closer to the youth of Sopore, so they do not have to travel to Srinagar or outside the Valley for credible information about studying medicine abroad—(KNO)
