Operation Warsun: Army, J&K Police recover huge cache of arms, ammunition | KNO

Srinagar, Oct 09 (KNO): A joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in North Kashmir's Kupwara District on Thursday led to the recovery of a huge cache of arms and ammunition. Officials, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that the operation (OP WARSUN) was launched based on intelligence input in the general area of Brijthor forest in Warsun, Kupwara. “Security forces busted a hideout and recovered two AK series rifles, four rocket launchers, a huge cache of ammunition and other war-like stores,” the Chinar Corps — Indian Army said in a post on X—(KNO)
