Srinagar Oct 27 (KNO): Bandipora is all set to get National Highway status for the Srinagar–Bandipora–Gurez Road, marking a major breakthrough in regional connectivity and infrastructure development.
This progress, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), comes as a result of the persistent efforts of MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat, who has been pursuing the proposal with the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
The latest communication from Union Minister Nitin Gadkari confirms that the proposal is under active consideration by the Ministry.
MLA Bhat, while making the development public to dispel doubts surrounding the issue, expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for his positive response and active consideration of the long-pending demand.
He expressed confidence that the proposal will receive a favourable approval soon, and urged cooperation from the other two MLAs of the district to help make this long-cherished dream a reality—(KNO)
