SSP Kulgam chairs joint security review meeting at DPO Kulgam | KNO

Srinagar, Mar 23 (KNO): Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam Anayat Ali Chowdhary-IPS, chaired a joint security review meeting with officers of the Police, CRPF and Army at DPO Kulgam. The meeting was attended by the CO 18-BN CRPF, Jitendra Mohan Shilswal, CO 163-BN CRPF, Nripendra Kumar Singh, CO 46-BN CRPF, Devender Singh Pal, CO 90-BN CRPF, Kamlesh Prasad Singh, CO 9-RR, Kumar Varun, CO 34-RR, Sandeep Kumar Mehta and Addl. SP Kulgam Mohd Aftab Awan-JKPS. According to a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the primary agenda of the session was to review and assess the overall security situation in the district. During the meeting, SSP Kulgam laid special emphasis on maintaining proper coordination and professionalism between police, Army, and CRPF in handling anti-terror operations and law and order situations. He highlighted the growing importance of adopting proactive security measures and increasing vigilance to prevent any untoward incident. Furthermore, the discussions focused on intelligence gathering, threat assessments, emergency response preparedness, and inter-agency coordination. SSP Kulgam underlined the need to bolster synergy among all security and intelligence agencies for seamless information sharing and joint operational readiness. Besides, the security of the minority population residing in the area was also reviewed and measures to augment their security were also assessed to make them vibrant. The joint security review meeting underscored the commitment of all security and intelligence agencies to work in close coordination to maintain peace and stability in the district—(KNO)
