Bandipora-Gurez rod closed as higher reaches receive fresh snowfall | KNO

Srinagar, November 13 (KNO) : Authorities on Tuesday closed the Bandipora- Gurez road for vehicular movement after the upper reaches of Gurez valley in Bandipora district in northern Kashmir received a fresh moderate snowfall. Reports reaching KNO said that Dawar, Tulial and Baktore areas of Gurez received moderate snowfall last night, thus leading to the closure of vital Bandipora-Gurez road. An official said that keeping in view slippery conditions of roads and fresh snowfall, the Bandipora-Gurez road has been closed as ‘a precautionary measure’ by the authorities.(KNO)
