Srinagar, November 16 (KNO) : A youth was killed by the suspected militants in South Kashmir's Shopian district in the intervening night of Thursday-Friday evening while as a video has also gone viral in which the armed youth suspected to be militants are seen firing a volley of bullets on a youth.The youth hailing from Safanagri village of South Kashmir's Shopian district was abducted by the unknown gunmen on Thursday evening and was later killed in his neighboring village at Nikloora. The slain youth was identified as Nadeem Manzoor Dar, whose bullet ridden body as per police was recovered by locals at Nikloora village on late Thursday night. As per family, unknown gunmen Thursday afternoon barged into their house and asked for their beloved.
Reports reaching KNO that Nadeem wasn't there at that time and in the late evening, he was abducted following he was killed. The family according to the reports have admitted that their beloved was a drug-addict, saying that they expected that the militants have abducted him to show him the right path but he was killed. Police however said that a case in this regard has been registered under relevant sections of law and investigation initiated.
In the meantime, a shocking video has went viral of social media in which the armed youth beloved to be militants have killed a youth while asking why did he help forces in getting some militants killed. The unknown gunmen could be seen firing volley of bullets on him in the video. Meanwhile, a top police officer told KNO that they are ascertaining the authenticity of the video.(KNO)
