CPI (M) condoles demise of its veteran activist | KNO

Jammu, February 01 (KNO) : Veteran CPI (M) activist, Makhan Lal Bhat from village Kheejogipora, Kulgam breathed his last on Friday at Jammu. CPI (M) in a statement issued to KNO said that right from his student days, he was associated with the progressive movement and teacher’s front. “After migration to Jammu he tirelessly fought on the issues faced by Kashmiri migrants at Jammu and was president of migrant wing of CPI (M),” the statement added. Condolence meeting was held at Gandhinagar Jammu in which senior CPI (M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami, highlighted his role in strengthening the party activities in the state and paid condolences to the bereaved family. G N Malik, State Secretary, CPI (M) also addressed the meeting.(KNO)
