Forces lay siege to Bandipora Village | KNO

Bandipora, February 10 (KNO) : Government forces here on today launched a Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in Malikpora Sumlar Village of Bandipora District here in North Kashmir. Sources told KNO that CASO was launched in the area following inputs about the presence of militants in the area  by joint team of Army’s 14RR unit, SOG wing of J&K police. Sources added that, whole area has been cordoned off and door-to-door searches are underway in the area and all entry and exit points of the area had been sealed. A police official confirmed about the Cordon and Search operation in Sumlar village added that area has been cordoned and search operation is underway. Cordon was going on, when this report was filed.(KNO)
