BSF official found dead on LoC | KNO

Srinagar, February 21 (KNO) : An official of Border Security Force (BSF) was on Thursday evening found lying dead on a forward post of Line of Control in Mendhar area. Details with KNO revealed that the said official of the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) was found lying dead on a forward post where he was deployed for guard duty. “Official was having a bullet injury and it seem to be a case of accidental discharge of bullet while suicide can also not be ruled out," said officials. They added that body of the deceased has been shifted to civil hospital for post mortem examination while police have also started investigation into the matter.(KNO)
