JAMMU & KASHMIR Awantipora teacher picked by NIA dies in police custody, magisterial probe ordered | KNO Published 262 weeks ago on March 19, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Srinagar, March 19 (KNO): A private school teacher from Awantipora area of Pulwama district died in custody after he was picked up for questioning by the NIA in connection with the Lethpora suicide attack case, a top official told KNO. Rizwan Ahmad Pandith son of Asaddulah Pandit a resident of Awantipora, a teacher by profession and a Jamaat-e- Islami activist died in police custody, police said, adding that he was being interrogated. IGP Kashmir SP confirmed to KNO that Rizwan has died in police custody. "A magisterial probe has been ordered," he said.
