Highway ban: Omar Abdullah leads protest, holds sit-in at Nowgam | KNO

Srinagar, April 10 (KNO) : On second day of Highway ban National Conference (NC) vice President and former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday again came on road to protest against the order that bars civilians from using the critical road. According to KNO correspondent Abdullah lead the protest and was joined by NC General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Peer Afaq, Tanvir Sadiq, Salman Sagar and Ahsan Pardesi. Protesting NC members assembled at Nowgam bypass and marched towards highway and kept raising anti ban slogans. Abdullah and others held a sit in on the Highway demanding revocation of the order that said only convoys will be allowed to move on Sundays and Wednesdays.(KNO)
