Pulwama, May 16 (KNO) : Three militants, one Army man were killed in an encounter that started during Pre dawn hours at Dalipora area Pulwama town on Thursday
An official said told KNO that a joint team of forces including army’s 55 RR and SOG Pulwama cordoned off Dalipora after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area.
Also, three army personnel and one civilian has sustained injuries at the encounter site as well. A senior Police official confirmed to KNO that three militants have been killed in exchange of fire between militants and government forces.
"Three bodies have been retrieved whose identification is being ascertained," the official told KNO. The injured civilian has been identified as Younis Ahmed Dar of Dalipora.
Meanwhile to avoid law and order problem authorities have imposed curfew in main town Pulwama and internet services have also been snapped as a precautionary measure.
Further as per locals despite curfew, clashes amid tear smoke and sound shelling are going on around encounter site. (KNO)
