Snow clearance work completed on Bhaderwah-Chamba road | KNO

Bhaderwah, May 25 (KNO) : Authorities on Saturday said that snow has been cleared from 52 Km Bhaderwah Chamba road.Snow was cleared from the Bhaderwah Padri tourist destination stretch, which falls under the jurisdiction of Bhaderwah on Saturday evening, an official overseeing the snow clearance operation told this media persons. Heavy machinery was used to clear the road by R&B department, which is closed for the past six months following heavy snowfall along the thoroughfare, the officialss said. “The other side of road—from Padri to Chamba border, which falls under Bhaderwah division of Bhaderwah Chamba road project, snow clearance work is in progress,” said Executive Engineer R&B Bhaderwah Er Bashir Ahmed Khanday, adding that snow is almost clear on road “Men and machinery worked very hard to clear the road on time.(KNO)
