JAMMU & KASHMIR Case regarding ban on JKLF heard at HC tribunal in Delhi | KNO Published 252 weeks ago on May 31, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Srinagar, May 31 (KNO) : Acting chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Abdul Hamid Butt on Friday expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri prisoners languishing in different Indian jails and jails of Jammu Kashmir. In a statement issued to KNO, he said thousands of Kashmiris are languishing in different jails and incarceration centers for holding a political belief. “These inmates are prisoners of conscience and international community needs to take steps for ensuring their safety and safe release from Indian jails,” he said. Meanwhile, the case regarding the banning of JKLF was heard at a High Court tribunal in Delhi where senior lawyer Advocate Raja Tufail represented JKLF.
