Forge unity to confront challenges: Muzaffar Shah tells political parties, sends letter party heads | KNO

Srinagar, June 15 (KNO) : Senior vice president Awami National Conference (ANC) Muzaffar Shah has sent letters to mainstream political parties, urging them to forge a united platform to confront the challenges to the special status of the state. In a letter to the political parties, Shah has said that the state is faced with many challenges Vis-a-Vis its special status, Article 35-A and delimitation. The letter has been sent on the directions of party president Khalida Shah wherein it was mentioned that since the Governor rule in the state, democratic and constitutional rights are being trampled upon and the time demands to devise a new strategy to restore the spaces and fight the challenges together. The letter has been addressed to president NC, PDP, Congress, AIP, DPN, PDF, BSP, SP, JD(U), CPIM, LJP, PC and JKPM. Urging all the political parties to join together and launch a united front to meet and fight these challenges.(KNO)
