Srinagar June 22 (KNO) : Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Saturday welcomed the transfer order issued by the Health department, terming it as a very good step. President of DAK, Dr Suhail Naik in a statement issued to KNO said that, “It is worth appreciating the work done by Financial Commissioner Health, J&K in cleaning up the Health department from nepotism, favouritism which was prevalent in the department by transferring the health administrators and also by demoting some who were illegally occupying the chair for so many years”. Dr Naik while welcoming the move further said that, “a very good step has been taken but lot needs to be done more as many administrators have been still left out and have not been touched” Dr Naik stressed upon that, “all those administrators illegally appointed, promoted should be reverted back to their original position as merit and seniority should be given due consideration as per recruitment rules”.(KNO)
