Govt forces lay siege to Bandipora village, luanch searches | KNO

Sinager, 30 june (KNO) : Security forces on Sunday early morning launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Check-arsala-Khan village of Bandipora in north Kashmir’s district. An Official told KNO that the CASO was jointly launched by army’s 14 RR, CRPF and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police. He said that the CASO was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area. Locals said door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed. However, there were no immediate reports of any untoward incident.
