Poonch police arrests local boy, booked under unlawful activities act

Poonch July 02 (KNO) : Poonch police has taken cognizance in a matter related to a what's app group wherein highly sensitive content was being uploaded. An official told KNO that the police has arrested a local boy, 19, for uploading the questionable content. Police sources told KNO that officials of police came across a what's app group with majority of members in the group were local person and a boy from the area was constantly uploading sensitive content in the group. "Some content uploaded in the group was of anti national nature and which police have taken cognizance into the matter and registered a case in FIR 154/2019 under sections 13 Unlawful Activities Act, 121, 122, 505 RPC," police official told KNO. Sources told KNO that after arrest of a local boy, police has started manhunt of more local person for their involvement in the case. A senior police official while confirming the development told KNO that further investigation have been taken up."More arrests are expected soon," he said.(KNO)
