Srinagar, July 03 (KNO) : The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has directed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir to examine that FIR against the management of a school was registered in consonance with orders of fee fixation committee.  “The IGP Kashmir Zone is directed to go through the spectrum of the case and see to it that at least FIR is lodged against the management of the school in response to huge delegation of parents who are present before the Commission,” said member SHRC Abdul Hamid Wani in an order issued while hearing a petition filed by chairman of International Forum of Justice Human Rights JK (IFJHRJK) Ahsan Untoo and parents association of the school. The petitioners as per a statement issued to KNO alleged that the SHO of the concerned Police Station was reluctant to reconsider FIR against the Management of the school situated in Alochibagh here. “Position being so, it is imperative that further action shall have to be taken by the higher authorities of Police Department,” the SHRC in its order said. The commission further said that there has been a Fee Structure Committee framed by the Government and reportedly it is not delivering to the desired extent. (KNO)
