Release Ayaz Akbar as his wife has terminal cancer: JKPM | KNO

Srinagar, July 09 (KNO) : Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) Tuesday urged Governor Satya Pal Malik to release Hurriyat Conference (G) leader Ayaz Akbar on humanitarian grounds as his wife has been reportedly diagnosed with metastatic cancer. JKPM Spokesperson as per a statement issued to KNO has sought release of Ayaz Akbar on humanitarian grounds so that he can attend to her ailing wife whose health condition is stated to be fast deteriorating due to cancer. Pertinently, the doctors as per the family sources have said that Ayaz Akbar’s wife has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer (IV stage of Cancer). JKPM president has sought intervention of Governor in the matter to release Ayaz Akbar from Tihar jail, purely on humanitarian grounds.(KNO)
