JAMMU & KASHMIR 17-year-old boy drowns to death in Kangan power canal | KNO Published 249 weeks ago on July 15, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Ganderbal, July 15 (KNO): A 17-year-old boy drowned while taking bath in Khanan area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday evening. Officials talking to KNO identified the boy as Aaqib Ahmad Magray, son of Ghulam Rasool of Khanan drowned in Power canal at Khanan, Kangan while he was taking bath. Locals told KNO that after the incident, police was informed and a search operation was launched to retrieve the body. The body was retrieved hours later and was handed over to his relatives for last rites, a police official said.
