Forces launch CASO in Sopore Village, searches Underway | KNO

Sopore, July 17 (KNO) : Government forces launched massive cordon and operation in Mir Mohallah Gund Brath village of Sopore in North kashmir’s Baramulla district. Reports reaching to KNO that a joint team of Armed forces including Army’s 22RR, Special Operation Group of local Police and paramilitary CRPF 92BN of CRPF,179BN CRPF cordoned off all the roads leading to the in Mir mohalla Gundbrath area of Sopore in wee hours. Reports said door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed. Local sources told KNO that heavy contingents of forces have been deployed in the area. However, No contact has been established with the militants so far, they said, adding that the search operation was going on when the reports last came in.(KNO)
