NSS KU & IOCL organises One Day First Aid Training program | KNO

Srinagar, July 18 (KNO) : National Service Scheme (NSS) University of Kashmir (KU) in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) organised One day First Aid training program for the Officers of IOCL and NSS volunteers at Gandhi Bhawan auditorium, University of Kashmir. The workshop was conducted under the guidance and presence of the CEO of Life Line Foundation, Padma Shree Dr. Subroto Das and his dedicated team of trainers. In the workshop, the participants were made aware of the various critical situations which require immediate first aid attention and hands on training was provided to the participants. According to a statement issued to KNO, Prof. Shamim, Coordinator NSS unit KU, expressed warm welcome to the training experts and impressed upon the volunteers to make full use of the opportunity. Faheem Ul Rafiq from IOCL introduced the experts and the purpose of the daylong event. Around 100 students received the training and deliberated with the experts on life saving skills which included practical exercises of CPR(Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation)(KNO)
