Srinagar, July 23 (KNO) : Amid Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik’s assurance that he won’t leave until he would expose all the corrupt politicians, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is all set to quiz three former ministers in connection the graft cases and if charges against them are proved, they would be booked as well, top officials in the ACB told KNO. They said that Governor Malik is serious about rooting out the corruption from the Kashmir soil as he has already stated that the Kashmir has broken all records of corruption. “So, the action has actually started. The former J&K Bank chairman Pervez Ahmed Nengro has already been booked for his role fixing a deal with the insurance company,” the official told KNO. He said that during the course of investigation, it has been found that three former ministers were also involved in corruption, nepotism and graft with their individual roles in the concerned cases. “One has been questioned already and two more are going to face the ACB in the coming days,” the official said. “The Governor is well aware of the ACB plans and the significant thing is that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a go ahead to the newly constituted ACB to end corruption and take strict action against the corrupt in the State.” Reliable sources revealed that ACB is collaborating evidences against the former ministers to build a case on the basis of solid proof so that the those against whom there are complaints, are confronted with the concrete evidences. On Monday, Governor Malik had stated that whenever he went to any good hotel like Taj, Vivanta or somewhere else, he came to know about the huge shares of politicians, who were nothing before three decades. He had said that Kashmir has broken all records of corruption as such a record breaking corruption can never be witnessed across the country.
