Srinagar, July 31 (KNO) : Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) Wednesday said that Kashmir issue can never be resolved through military might as it is a political and a human issue. The party as per a statement issued to KNO said that the only democratic way to resolve the long pending Kashmir issue is to honour and respect the sentiments of the people living in the region. It is time for the world powers and forums to move beyond issuing statements and take practical measures so that the ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir is stopped and precious human lives are saved, spokesperson said. JKDFP spokesperson urged the UN and US to urge New Delhi to take political measures to resolve the Kashmir issue taking its historical perspective into consideration.(KNO)
