Massive fire breaks out at Gamroo village in Bandipora, several residential houses gutted | KNO

Bandipora, May 20 (KNO): A massive fire broke out in several residential houses in Gamroo village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday late afternoon. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that fire emanated from a residential house of Ali Mohammad Dar in Dar Mohalla Gamroo. "Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames and stop it from spreading further in the congested neighbourhood, however several residential houses were completed gutted in the massive fire, " he said. He said that a darsgah and two cow sheds were also gutted in the fire incident. "The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained," the official said, adding there was no reports of any loss of life or injury to anyone so far. “More tenders have been deputed to the spot as fire was yet to be brought under control,” he said—(KNO)
