Four LeT militant associates arrested in Budgam | KNO

Budgam, May 20 (KNO): Budgam Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a module of militants affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and arrested four persons who were working as Over Ground Workers (OGW) of militants in the district. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), police said that the module was busted along with security forces. “On a credible input, Budgam police along with 2 RR arrested, four militant associates identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Dar, son of Khazir Mohd Dar, Mudasir Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Majid Lone, Younis Waza, son of Farooq Ahmad Waza residents of Budran Budgam and Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Noor Muhammad Sheikh of Poshkar Khag." One pistol, grenade ,arms and ammunition and other incriminating material has been recovered from their possession, they said. As per the police records, they were involved in providing logistic support and shelter to the active militants of LeT operating in the area. "A case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Magam and further investigation is in progress," police said. Pertinently, on May 16, police busted the module of LeT militant associates, saying five LeT militant associates were also arrested—(KNO)
