Admin orders closure of markets as five fresh COVID cases detected in Bandipora | KNO

Bandipora, June 02 (KNO): Authorities on Tuesday ordered closure of markets, shopping malls, till further orders in the wake of fresh five positive COVID-19 cases in north Kashmir's Bandipora district. The order comes into effect from June 02-03 midnight. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that opening of shops as allowed earlier shall remain in abeyance in Municipal limits of Bandipora town. “As such, all the shops in entire town Bandipora shall remain closed till further orders,” officials said. There shall be complete restrictions on the movement of people and vehicles in Bandipora town except with valid permissions from DC Office. Earlier, five fresh positive cases were detected in Bandipora today, taking the total number of patients in the district to 150 after which Ahimsharif villages have also been declared as red zone while the villages around it have been declared as buffer zone—(KNO)
