Kishtwar, June 25 (KNO): At least six persons are feared dead when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into the Budh Nallah in Kishtwar district, officials said.
Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that one vehicle Alto was heading towards Massu teh Padder fell into the Budh Nallah near Garh. They said the vehicle of the driver identified as Mulkh Raj, son of Ram Nath of Garh Padder is head Constable in Armed Police and was travelling along with five family members
The other persons who were in the vehicle him and are feared dead include Muni Devi , daughter of Mulkh Raj, Kailasha Devi, daughter Mulkh Raj, Anamika Devi, 16, daughter of Chuni Lal, Sushalni @ Shallu, 13, daughter of Narinder Kumar and Sonakshi @ Kaki, 11, daughter of Narinder Kumar.
Police Party and Gref party along with crane have reached the spot and have started search and rescue operation.
DDC Kishtawar Ranjeet Singh also confirmed the incident to KNO and said that the rescue operation has been launched while efforts are on to locate the persons—(KNO)
