LG, Advisor Khan condemn killings of BJP leader, family members | KNO

Srinagar, July 09 (KNO): Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu on Thursday condemned the killings of BJP leader Sheikh Waseem Bari, his father Bashir Ahmed and brother Umar Bashir, who were killed by the militants on Wednesday evening. In a condolence message, the Lt Governor has said that the barbaric act of killing innocent people is against the humanity and the perpetrators of this cowardly act shall be brought to justice. He expressed his deepest sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. Meanwhile, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan has condemned the killings of BJP leader Sheikh Waseem Bari, his father Bashir Ahmed and brother Umar Bashir, who were killed by the militants on Wednesday evening. In his condolence message, Advisor Khan termed the killings as senseless and murder of humanity and said the militants and their handlers are carrying such acts because of their frustration due to the pro-active role of our security forces against militancy. He said the perpetrators of this cowardly act shall be brought to justice. He also expressed his deepest sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls—(KNO)
