3 teenagers, young man allegedly commit suicide in 48 Hrs in Kashmir | KNO

Srinagar, Aug 04 (KNO): At least four persons including three teenagers allegedly committed suicide in the last 48 hours in Kashmir division. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the four persons who allegedly committed suicide include three teenagers and a young man from Srinagar. “An eight class student aged between 15–16 years allegedly committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance at his home in Chaterpora,” they said. In another similar incident, a 16-year-old boy ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his home in Dahrun area of Dooru in Anantnag district today. In Ahmad Nagar area of Srinagar, a young man (Watchman) has allegedly hanged himself to death, they said. Similarly, the body of a 16-year-old teenage girl was found hanging at her home at village Sheergund Uttersoo in South Kashmir's Anantnag district. Meanwhile, in all the four incidents, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated at concerned Police Stations. The investigation was going on in all the cases—(KNO)
